About the Role

 

We require an experienced lawyer who will work with and support the principal lawyer. You will be working in a wide range of areas, including commercial law, family law and litigation. Ideally we are seeking someone with experience in multiple areas of law.

You will be responsible for drafting documents and letters, liaising with peers, industry experts and conducting legal research in a wide range of matters.

 

About you

 

The successful candidate will need to have:

 

• A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
• Strong drafting skills, time management and attention to details
• Ability to communicate effectively
• A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to fulfill client needs
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high quality of work
• Strong work ethic and the capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• A proactive approach and ‘can do’ attitude
• A willingness to learn and further develop
• Ability to speak Japanese or another Asian language would be well regarded but not essential
